The blessed month of Rabi ul Awal is a month dedicated to our beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw) – The Chosen One.
Prophet Muhammad (saw) was one of the best of creation, encouraging us to do good, serving others and caring for the needy. He was The Chosen One, to bring us the Holy Qur’an, to complete the religion of Islam and to unite the ummah.
During Rabi al Awal and always, we ask you to join us in remembering the Prophet (saw). One of the best ways to honour him, is to give in charity and support deserving causes around the world.
This Rabi-ul-Awal, help a vulnerable child through our Hafiz & Orphan program or gain the endless rewards of building a mosque.

The meaning of Rabi Ul Awal is “the first spring”. The word Rabi means “spring” and Ul Awal means “the first” in the Arabic language.
The Month of Rabi al Awwal is expected to start on Wednesday, 4th September 2024 depending on the sighting of the moon.
Muslims celebrate Mawlid al-Nabi by arranging public events to hear the life story of the Prophet (PBUH), read the Quran, often engage in extra prayers, and acts of charity. Many Muslims also decorate their homes, streets, and mosques with lights.
Sadaqah and Zakat are essential acts of charity in Islam, with Zakat being an obligatory form of giving. Rabi al-Awwal is a time to honor the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by performing acts of Sadaqah and Zakat.
Giving Sadaqah and Zakat in Rabi al-Awwal is a way to commemorate the life of the Prophet (PBUH) and align with his teachings on generosity.
Your Sadaqah donations through Al Mustafa USA help sustain projects that provide benefits such as building and managing schools, hospitals, providing clean water & food, supporting orphans and giving emergency relief aid to those affected by war & natural disasters.
You can also donate Zakat in Rabi al-Awwal to help those in need, following the principles set by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
