This Ramadan, we aim to ensure that no one goes hungry. For that, join our feed 1 million challenge. When you join this cause, you are not just giving people food; you are also giving them comfort and hope.
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:
“…. And whoever performs an obligatory act during it (Ramadan), he is like whoever performed seventy obligatory acts in other times.” [Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah]
At the end of Ramadan, Muslims are supposed to give a special kind of Ramadan charity called Zakat al-Fitr (Fitrana). This charity is given to cleanse the fasts and allow the less fortunate to enjoy the joy of Eid ul Fitr.
Paying Zakat al-Fitr is a means of ensuring that no one is left hungry on Eid day. This must be paid before the Eid prayer, as it allows families in need to celebrate with dignity. Giving your Zakat al Fitr on time, you help provide food and essential supplies, making Eid a true celebration for all.
Pay your Zakat al Fitr and bring happiness to those in need!
Split your donations across the entire month of Ramadan and maximise the reward of the holy month.
With every good deed worth 70 times more in Ramadan, never miss a day of giving in charity!
You can choose to donate daily, weekly or over the last ten nights in Ramadan.
Zakat al-Fitr or Fitrana is a gift that Muslims must give before Eid al-Fitr prayer. It gives to purify the fasting from wrong doings in Ramadan and to ensure that less fortunate can also partake in the celebration of Eid.
